Hello, I am Mark Thur (1980) an art and technology sound specialist and location sound recordist.

Location Sound Recordist:

I specialize in documentaries focused on nature, sports, art, and human-interest stories. I have extensive experience in large-scale multicamera production workflows—such as Tour de France: Unchained—as well as working with small ENG crews. I am also accustomed to high-profile projects that require a high level of discretion and professionalism.

Art and Technology Sound Specialist:

With a background in sound, I work on both small and large projects, often managing teams throughout the process. Holding a Master’s degree in Art and Technology, I combine artistic insight with strong project management skills. I enjoy translating abstract ideas into practical solutions that work within the realities of museums, festivals, and specific locations. By balancing budget, timing, and clear communication with all involved, I make sure projects run smoothly and succeed.
